Terms & Conditions

B&B booking policy:

  • Our minimum booking is 2 nights; occasionally there might be a single night available in between other bookings, please contact us directly about this.
  • Full payment is required to confirm a reservation.
  • A cancellation refund is possible only if the booking can be refilled.

The B&B at Rua Reidh is an exceptionally tranquil retreat for adults. However, wellbehaved children are welcome in the FOQ and quiet, mature teenagers in the B&B.

Well-behaved dogs are also very welcome; there is a small surcharge in the B&B if you bring your pooch with you.

Please note that we have cats on the premises but that they are never in any of the guest areas.

Important information

Tap water: we have excellent natural-source chemical-free water which is brown in colour due to the surrounding peat soil. At the building, the water is double filtered and UV treated as well as independently tested and verified.

Telephone: for mobile phones, the area is covered by 4G but the reception can be poor and will also depend on individual service providers. There is a payphone in the entrance hallway.

Wifi: we cannot offer wifi, but it is possible for guests to set up their own hotspot – but please see above point re 4G inconsistency. Several hotels and cafes in Gairloch also offer free wifi access.

There is no TV anywhere in the B&B. The FOQ lounge has a TV.
